I don't know whether to give my heart away or keep it for myself. I know it's all about both, about knowing and trusting oneself enough to navigate the ebb and flow of such mysteries. I just wish there were a simple mathematical formula I could apply and be safe and happy....forever.
O Mag would suggest this is possible with all its neat little solutions tied up in a bow. But yet again, I can't even open this month's issue with its sunny nonsense. Life feels shades of grey to me today, not bright Oprah colours.
As obvious with my minimal posting, I don't feel to write lately, at least not publicly. It's a winding inward winter time.

simple mathematical formulas..let me feel not terrible about not knowing....can i make a new mathematical formula that makes mathematical formulas useless?
mathematical formulas * uncertainty = okayness
don't know much about formulas. my dad's a pharmacist. me? science, math- eek. so i live a sloppy sort of life. though also tame and organized. i feel free. though i have a regimented daily routine that includes vitamins three times daily. i float. i'm grounded....
my heart? it may belong to no one or many or another. i'm not really sure. physically, i care for it. emotionally- i try. it somehow seems that those who have the answers change their minds regularly.
I have an ECG picture of my heart. Six lines of peaks and crevices jumping along in a crazy dance.
Melissa, I've finally had a bit of time to visit your blog. I don't read O magazine but I'd be happy to have a daily or weekly dose of your nurturing reflections. I can relate with a lot of your sentiments, and I understand deeply the desire to delve inward. Take your time, but come back soon! :)
Marni, I like the part about those who have the answers change their minds regularly...
even those who don't have the answers do the same! but it would be less stressful I imagine..
the stress of seeking answers outweighs the illusion of any answers found..
